Virtus.pro has defeated Imaginary 2-1 (10-16 de_dust2_se, 16-7 de_mirage_csgo, 16-8 de_inferno_se) to qualify for the grand final of SLTV StarSeries IV tomorrow against ESC Gaming. The Frenchmen started off strong in the opening map de_dust2_se, where they surprised the local audience with a 16-10 win, scoring eight rounds in the opening half of the map. When the action shifted to de_mirage_csgo it became clear Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom and Richard "shoxie" Papillon weren't going to receive any help from their teammates as Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavigni's 0/13 didn't exactly help their cause.
Despite a monstrous performance by Benrlitom, who at the time of trailing 3-8 as counter-terrorists had posted a score of 25/6, it wasn't enough as his team simply wasn't up to par, allowing Virtus.pro to win 16-7. The final map saw imG jump up 4-1 as counter-terrorists in the beginning, but Virtus' attacks kept improving as the half went on, with them trailing by just one in the end. The second half saw Virtus dominated imG 9-0, winning 16-8 and 2-1 overall. SLTV StarSeries IVBest of 3
